Skyrim Thieves Guild

The Skyrim thieves’ guild has fallen from what it once was in Oblivion. Once you join the guild, you are tasked at bringing back their power. The holds have forgotten the power of the thieves’ guild so you need to perform jobs to get the word out. I’ve talked to a few people and they’ve all had trouble completing the quest for returning the guild to their former glory. To return their reputation you need to complete the quests that Delvin and Vex give you. You have to do at least 5 quests in the holds, Whiterun, Solitude, Windhelm, and Markarth. When you have completed 5 of the quests in one of those hold, Delvin will ask you to do a “special” job for someone. Completing that will earn the help of someone important in that hold. You do that for each hold and you will have restored the thieves’ guild to their former glory.

Skyrim Leveling System

I have been playing Skyrim for the past few days and I am impressed with the improvements they have made, especially with the Leveling System. In Oblivion, you picked 7 skills ranging from different spells, armor, weapons, and crafting. If you wanted to level up you would have to upgrade those selected skills which meant throughout the game you would have to focus on just those 7 to level. In Skyrim all of that has changed. Now you don't have to choose any of the skills. Any time one of the 20 skills increases, it brings you closer to the next level. Also they have added perks for each of the skills which increase damage or grants you new attacks to do with the skill. For example, If you level up 2-handed attacks enough you will be able to decapitate your enemies. Overall the leveling system is more in depth and adds more variety to your skills. If you are a fan of Oblivion or just like RPGs/Free roam games then Skyrim is a must buy.

In Skyrim, You look to the sky to increase your stats.

Skyrim Combat

I recently saw a video on YouTube posted by Bethesda about the combat system in Skyrim. It was pretty awesome. It showed a glimpse of the different talents such as sneak, destruction, or 1 handed weapons. For example, I saw that the sneak talent had a "star" in it that granted 20% more stealth while crouched. Also there was one that granted 3x the bonus damage with sneak attacks using bows. Whenever I play a new game with swords and magic, I usually make a magic person first but executions for stealth make me want to make a rogue first. I'll just have to wait and see what calls to me when I make my character

Skyrim Leak

I learned that there was a Skyrim game play leak recently. I am not sure what was leaked exactly but I heard the people at Bethesda have been trying to taken off the web. It doesn't really matter if they do or not because its being released in 2 days. I for one have not watched the video. I rather wait and play it than ruining the surprise. I see it as presents at Christmas. If I found out what i got before I opened it on Christmas then it wouldn't be as exciting or special. I'm just going to be waiting until November 11th to play the soon to be game of the year, Skyrim.
